Founder & Secretary
Samm has a heart to see people FREE and set free! His heart for worship and prayer has unfolded in the most powerful testimony…Sam has one message, GOD IS GOOD. With a background as an electrician and missionary he knows God uses everyone to advance His Kingdom. His time in Thailand has helped open his eyes to the real need of bringing hope to both the kids who are exploited and the men buying. The gospel is for everyone. His greatest prayer is to see revival break out among the nations!
Angie.
Co-Founder & President
Angie has a passion to see people move into their divine destiny. To see people trade their orphan spirit for a spirit of adoption and sonship! Working as the International HR Director for a large non-profit gave her insight into missions and people. In the past Angie has been business owner and in leadership roles thru out the years. Her heart for Jesus to come and receive what He paid for fuels her fire for revival! Angie is wife, mother of four amazing kids and President of SOAR. Her heart for girls that have been exploited is seen thru out SOAR and believes thru this prayer house many girls lives will be transformed!
Chris.
Chairman and Treasurer
Chris is an Eagle Scout, Entrepreneur, and currently the owner of a digital marketing agency that helps nonprofits grow. In the past, he was the first Campus Pastor, the Executive Pastor and a board member of a very fast-growing church. He also has extensive experience with real estate, financial planning and mortgages. Over the years, Chris has been able to combine his passion for entrepreneurship and creating new things with his desire to make a direct impact on the world for Jesus. “I’m excited to be leading the board of directors for Soar, a new nonprofit Christian organization. This gives me the opportunity to use the organizational leadership skills I’ve developed in the past to help create an environment where we can really bring positive change to the people of Thailand. Soar will bring hope, help and healing to northern Thailand for generations to come!” Chris loves the outdoors, traveling and spending time with his wife Jill and 5 children.
Matt
Board Member
Matt Lindwall is a passionate person to see the kingdom of Jesus advance through prayer and acts of justice.
He lives in Minnesota with his wife Danielle and 6 kids between the ages of 11 and 2. Matt currently works as an Independent Associate Manager with LegalShield & IDShield helping individuals, families & businesses protect and empower themselves through legal and identity protection services.
Matt maintains values within the context of a biblical worldview. He believes that Christians are to be out in the world but not of it. He believes we can do this by making a Godly and positive impact in the market place, public and private sector. Along with, supporting those through prayer and financial means who have been sent out to various missionary works around the world to advance Gods kingdom.
Outside of business Matt has a great passion for prayer & worship and the need for it in the church to hear and know the voice of the Lord in these current turbulent times. Matt and his family have supported and partaken in multiple events to raise awareness and support others in the fight against human sex trafficking. This continues to be a focus to engage in to see a real impact made. Through the context of prayer and worship, Matt and Danielle hope to create community and family as a most important value in a culture. The best part about a family and community is that everyone has a place to belong and know they are loved.
Matt is excited to see the kingdom of God advance through S.O.A.R. and be apart apart of it.
Jessica
Board Member
Jessica has been a professional Christian counselor for 20 years. Her current ministry, "Kingdom Mindset," equips believers to find healing and freedom through learning to have the mind of Christ. She and her husband Scott have four children together, as a blended family, and founded the Divine Marriage Center in Elk River, MN in 2010. Dr. Rothmeyer enjoys speaking at women’s events and teaching at her church. She is the author of two books, The Divine Marriage, published in 2015 and It’s Time for a Revolution, which will be released Fall of 2020. Jessica serves on the leadership team of a non-profit in Elk River, “Community Table,” with the vision to bring people together for food and friendship once a month, with the position of spokesperson for the organization. Jessica’s greatest desire is to see revival and a spiritual revolution to break forth and heal God’s people; it is with great excitement that she looks forward to her partnership with SOAR and all it will achieve in bringing the Kingdom to earth, in Thailand.
Eric & Kelly
Board of Advisors
Pastors Eric & Kelly Dykstra are authors, speakers, and co-founders of Free Grace United, a family of churches in Minnesota. Kelly holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from University of Northwestern. Eric holds a Master’s of Biblical Studies from Faith Theological Seminary. They have served as advisors, board members, and mentors through organizations such as the Boys and Girls Club, C3 Global, Compassion For All Orphanage in Haiti, and various church plants across the country. They are passionate about helping people cross the line of faith and follow Jesus.
They have been married for 25 years. They have three awesome children, a lovely daughter-in-law, a grandson on the way, and a grand puppy named Zeppelin.
